Here we tell a little about Linguru, its history, and ourselves, Paul and David, its founders.

We are a company that writes and distributes language-learning software. For more about what we do, visit the pages concerning our products and philosophy.
The founders and, as of the moment, the owners and employees of Linguru are Paul and David Houghton. We are cousins. Paul has degrees in electrical engineering, business administration, and industrial management. He is the chief programmer and business manager at Linguru. David has degrees in English literature and linguistics. He is the chief language specialist at Linguru. For your amusement, we have provided pictures of ourselves below. Linguru is located in Nashville, Tennessee. The offices are in a building called the Greenhouse. The Greenhouse is neither a green house nor technically a greenhouse. A portion of it, however -- the portion in which we work -- was designed for growing plants. Hence the name. We, Paul and David, participated in the building of the Greenhouse. We helped lay the foundation, put up the walls and the ceiling, shingle the roof, put in the wiring, and paint the interior. We are proud of our premises. The picture below shows us putting together a section of one wall.
